The Magnolia Community Horse Club is a not for profit organization formed as a means to promote equine education and good fellowship in the best interest of agriculture and horses among youth in our area. It is through our spring and fall shows and other fund raising activities that we are able to provide scholarships to local high school seniors. 

The MCHC Board of Directors determine the number and amount of scholarships awarded. Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors who have an agricultural or livestock background.

Consideration is given to seniors who are members in good standing of the MCHC and who are in the top ½ of their graduating class in the Magnolia Independent School District or surrounding areas.  Home-schooled students and non-members are also eligible.

The following criteria will be used by the MCHC Scholarship Committee:

1. involvement with the MCHC
2. academic achievement
3. financial need
4. essay
5. leadership ability as expressed through extra curricular activities and community involvement
6. three (3) letters of recommendation

All application materials must be completed and postmarked no later than April 15th of the current year and submitted to:
