General membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm
at the community center located at the Montgomery County Community building next
door to the arena one block south of the Magnolia Youth Park off of Highway 1774 on
Magnolia Industrial Park Lane.
We all know about the general everyday things that must be handled, electricity,
phones, maintenance and so on. The everyday cost of doing business sometimes
makes us fall short in the areas that really matter like scholarships, the ability to put
on quality events, provide educational clinics, and supporting youth activities outside the club
such as the Magnolia FFA and Montgomery County Fair.
We would like to do more for programs like SIRE and just plain have fun. Sign space, web
sponsorship, memberships and our events are just enough to keep us going from year to
year, but we want to do bigger and better things. Reaching our goal of $10,000 in
scholarships is our number one priority. Membership is just one way to help us reach our
goals.
Here’s an idea. Do you have a favorite event or class? Why not sponsor it or an award.
Would you or someone you know like to fund a scholarship or hang up a sign? If you have an
idea or would like to find out how you can help, please contact one of our board members.

Memberships are $50.00 + 6 work hours annually per family and are due by December 15th of
the current year to be eligible to vote in January elections. Work hours can be performed by
anyone included in your membership. You may opt out of work hours by adding $50.00 to the
membership. Work hours can be earned by working at MCHC events, work days, helping get
the arena and grounds prepared. You can earn 1 work hour by attending a meeting.
