Recent Events
Don Green Scholarship Memorial Scholarships" have been awarded. Graduating high school students from
Magnolia, Tomball and surrounding areas are eligible. The number and value of the awards are determined by the MCHC
Board of Directors based on the applications received. This year three $1,000 scholarships have been awarded.
Michael LaBelle graduated from Cy-Fair High School and will be attending Texas A&M.
Emilie Nemchak graduated from Magnolia High School will be attending the University of Northern Colorado.
Shelby Tolar graduated from Magnolia High School and will be attending Lone Star College.

MCHC would like to thank Stephan Boutin for his generosity. Stephan donated $100 to the 1D Incentive for the
Jack Pot barrel race held July 16. The 1D incentive was won by Lauren Lewis.
Mission Statement
The Magnolia Community Horse Club is a not-for-profit organization formed as a means to promote equine education and
good fellowship in the best interest of agriculture and horses among youth in our area. It is through various horse shows, barrel races and play day activities that we are able to
provide scholarships from the Don Greene Memorial Scholarship Fund to local college bound high school seniors.
Full Calendar of Events for 2010
The Club has a Spring and Fall schedule with series awards for both the horse shows and barrel races. The horse shows are billed as MCHC All Breed Shows. Barrel races are run almost every other Friday night. It also hosts the annual Magnolia Classic Added Money Barrel Race in December. The Horse Club also has a Drill Team, Sweetheart ‘N’ Spurs Rodeo Performance Team.
General Membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm at the MCHC arena, 31245 Friendship Lane. (map quest use 31245 Magnolia Industrial Park Lane). One block south of the Magnolia Youth Park off of highway 1774 on Friendship Lane in Magnolia, Texas.
The next meeting will be September 14, 2010.
